The number one reason to marry your IT guy? He can build you the ultimate gaming computer! 😆 I spent my weekend doing some work training, but I also got to spend most of it on my brand new PC! Not only is my new computer optimal for gaming, but it’s also lightning fast! I’ve started using Adobe Photoshop CC 2017, and it loads before I can blink! I can’t wait to get a new digital camera and start making the most of it! Drawing has been so fun too! No more waiting for my tablet to catch up!
I live on my Steam account! I really love having all my games in one place, and making purchases easier. I also enjoy sharing what games I’m playing, in case anyone wants to jump in! I play as Crystalkinss mostly, but when I can’t fit that many letters, CrysKins works fine. I also sometimes play as Harper on TOS because Crystalkinss is my lodge name. 🙂
Right now I’m playing:
— Tree of Savior — Ragnarok Online — Ragnarok Online 2 — La Tale — MapleStory — Dragon Saga
I had a really nice holiday weekend! On Saturday I decided to go to my first doll meet, and I invited a friend that I’m trying to convert to the doll side. I was actually pretty anxious about going, and about asking someone to go with me, but I’m glad I did! I got to meet some cool new people, and dolls! Plus, it’s always a blast hanging out with my friend. 😛 We took our kids who are about the same age, and had a lot of fun!! I got some new items for my dolls, and went out to dinner after.
Then on Sunday, I got my new Momoko girl! I was trying to decide between getting a Momoko, or a Pureneemo to add to my doll collection, but luckily there was a tiny Pureneemo at the meet. I like them, but I would rather have something similar, but with removable eyes. Maybe something more Dollfie like. I’ve actually felt pretty inspired lately! Summer is always so depressing for me, because I feel trapped inside by the sun. I’m happy to be finding lots of new ways to enjoy my summers though!
Dollmore DIY eyes $5-$7 a pair. | I was having a lot of trouble finding the perfect eyes for my resin babes. Then I found these really cool do it yourself eyes, and took them down to the studio to create some looks! With these you can use nail polish, so I went and picked out some fun colors. Rose got a purple glitter color, I used a liquid ice color for Harper, and for Damon I used an aqua teal color. I really love how my dolls look, and it was fun to make them!
I’ve been at my new job for about two months now, and I’m so thankful for the education and opportunity! What is it I do? Putting it into simple terms; I’m an administrative assistant. However, I have a unique opportunity to be working in a studio dedicated to art therapy. I am certified to listen, and help people with every day struggles. Plus, I can take my lunches, spending time surrounded by art and artists or sit in on meditation sessions as a staff member. Additionally, I get to help people get into a program I’m passionate about, because it helped me find my place.
Since I’ve started working here, I’ve found acceptance, friendship, independence and a really fun work environment. I’ve had personal challenges, but I’ve gotten to see how strong I can be. So, I’m hoping to start blogging again, sharing new experiences both at work and at home, sharing the art that surrounds me. I’m so happy to be at a place where I’m doing what I love, and getting paid to do it! 🙂
